Get to experience some of Himachal’s hidden backtrails with the best Adv-Moto instructors in India. Ride the deepest cedar forest trails upto Level 3, constantly challenging even the most skilled riders. Stay in a “COVID-Safe” hotel on the outskirts of Shimla for 4 nights and go back a far more adept ADV-Moto rider than when you rode up to the hills!

EXPLORATION TIMELINE

Day 0
Riders arrive at the hotel and complete registration formalities, followed by a classroom session on the basics of ADV riding, comprising techniques, gear, bike setup and more!

DAY 1
A small practical training session on the art of off road riding, followed by technical trails and varying terrain (dirt, loose rocks, broken tarmac, and smooth tarmac) for the rest of the day.

DAY 2
A longer ride over varying surfaces, testing not only the skills picked up over the course of DAY 1, but also the endurance of the participants. Riding of between 12-15 hours can be expected.

DAY 3
The final day of trail riding, through multiple technical trails. Lunch will be followed by the certification ceremony, and an early return to base to prepare for departure the next day.

DAY 4
Riders depart post breakfast.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

The theory behind riding off road on various surfaces, followed by a
small training session on the same.

Bike setup for different terrains and conditions, including tire
pressure, riding modes etc.

Extreme hill climb and ascent techniques.

How to best negotiate obstacles such as water crossings and loose
rocks/ boulders etc. while riding.

How to tackle emergency halts while on a steep incline.

Correct technique to pick up your bike after a fall.

Ride essentials depending upon your destination/ objective.

How to rip it up, off-road. Unlock the ability and confidence to take your machine to the most uncharted parts of the planet – as God
intended!

COVID-SAFE EXPLORATION

COVID SAFE PACK

Contains sanitizer, 5 masks, 3 pairs of gloves and your “UV sanitized” sticker pack.

ALL SOP’S IN PLACE

Your hotel will have all COVID SAFE SOP’s in place. Single rooming available on request.

PACKED FOOD

Lunch will be packed separately and distributed at the lunch stop. No dhaba food.

NO SHARED WATER

Sealed bottled water will be handed over individually. We do not recommend sharing.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

No stopping in crowded bazaars – we attempt to bypass all such places following social distancing.

SANITISATION

Motorcycles washed down daily. Safe return to sanitised hotel on a daily basis.

If you cannot ride down your ADV bike because you live too far, or even just don’t like travelling a rain drenched highway, you can always ride the backtrails on one our our 5, brand new, trail prepped BMW G310 GS machines that are superbly equal to the task at hand.

Equipped with Barkbusters, Hepco Becker protection on engine and tank, headlight protection grills, foot extenders on the side stands, to deal with parking in slush or soft sand, the bikes are fairly damage proof!

Rentals are at an all time low of INR 3000/- per day including petrol! Damages if any are at your cost.
